Hello Family and Friends -
Another
week since last p-day has come and gone all too quickly. AND - this is
the last week of the January transfer, so I don't know when I'll write
next week. Anyways - here is my weekly report.
Thursday 1/14 - That night we worked our night shifts in our work zone.
Friday 1/15 - We spent the day and night working in our work zones.
Saturday
1/16 - We worked in our zones during the day and played sports at night
(YES, I actually PLAYED dodgeball, and it wasn't that bad haha!).
Sunday
1/17 - We went to Music and the Spoken Word - MLK Day Special with Alex
Boye as the special guest. We then went to our church meetings.
Monday
1/18 - We got to have the day off since our offices were closed. So
that morning we played some sports, and then our AP's (Assistant to the
President!) gave us a presentation on the history of our mission and
watched another film. That night we had our District Meeting.
Tuesday 1/19 - We worked our usual day/night shifts in our work zones.
Wednesday
1/20 - We had our monthly Young Elders Mission Conference which was
good as always. We were supposed to meet in the JSMB Relief Society
Room, but because that was reserved, we relocated to the chapel (which
was right in front of the Relief Society Room!). We then worked in our
zones and had our mission choir rehearsal in the afternoon.
Thursday 1/21 - We already went shopping and did our laundry so far today.
It's been another exciting and busy week. Hope everyone has an awesome week. Love you all! :)
PS
-Why does it ALWAYS snow at Cabaret time? Maybe mother nature is
telling Dana something haha. I heard from Kristy that you all had a
snow day today - first one this year I think? I bet all the cast is
freaking out right now. I will pray for not alot of snow. I think they
should do the show the weekend after Districts (unless that is when the
Pyramid Concerts are scheduled for - when are the Pyramid Concerts
scheduled for?). How did Jacob do on his Godspell audition? I'm sure
that Carter and Jacob will have some snow day work that their teachers
will assign them. Of course the "biggest" snowstorm in NOVA happens
when I'm on my mission. If I had been home I maybe would have been able
to experience it (unless I was at school haha!). Hopefully after my
mission I'll get to experience a HUGE snowstorm (as long as it's during
Christmas 2017!).
Elder Frederickson
