Hello Family and Friends!
Happy 2nd half of February. It's been
another good and busy week here. AND - it's also the last week of this
month's transfer - so I'm not sure when I'm writing next, so stay tuned
haha. Here's my week in a nutshell.
Thursday 2/11 - We worked our normal shifts on
Thursday night.
Friday 2/12- We spent the day and night working
our shifts in our zones.
Saturday 2/13 - We worked during the day.
My companion made cranberry/cherry pork and for someone who has NEVER had
cranberries and cherries before, the food was really good. We then played
sports and I got a new haircut.
Sunday 2/14 - We went to see Music and the
Spoken Word in the morning - normally the choir does a broadcast relating to
Valentines Day and President's Day. Even though Sunday was Valentine's
Day the choir did a President's Day special. We then had choir practice
and church - and we (the branch choir!) sang in Sacrament Meeting on
Sunday.
Monday 2/15- We did not work on Monday because
of President's Day. Instead we watched a film called the Fires of Faith
and also played some sports. We had our regular district meeting that
night.
Tuesday 2/16 - We went back to working our
regular shifts after the long weekend. Our mission choir sang at the
Senior Mission Conference both Tuesday and yesterday which was fun.
Because my companion is not a choir member, I had to do a temporary
companionship exchange on Tuesday and I was in a temporary tripanionship
yesterday so we could still have coverage in our work zones and so I could sing
with the choir.
Wednesday 2/17- We worked and also went to our
monthly temple trip. We also have had some warm weather the past couple
days (upper 50's maybe even lower 60's!). We also had our choir
performance at the Senior Mission Conference and also our regular Wednesday rehearsal.
Thursday 2/18- We already did our shopping and
our laundry today.
SO - that was my super exciting, busy, and
hardworking week in a nutshell. Hope everyone has a super excellent week!
:)
Elder Frederickson
