Hello Everyone!
Another
week seems to have flown by rather quickly. It's been another great
week. BIG NEWS - I completed my first 6 months of the mission this week
- super exciting.
Thursday 3/3 - After a great p-day last week we worked our night shifts in the work zone.
Friday 3/4 - We spent the day working our normal shifts in the work zone.
Saturday 3/5 - We worked during the day and then had our sports activity that night - which was fun.
Sunday
3/6 - We went to see the weekly broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word -
interesting thing was that Mack Wilberg was supposed to be the
director, but Ryan Murphy directed instead. We then had TWO choir
practices (a smaller one for a number we're singing in church on Sunday,
the other for branch choir!). We then immediately had church and then
we had a Young Elder Fireside where Elder Richard Clarke (one of our
senior elders!) spoke - he's a really funny person and gave a great
talk. We also had the weirdest outdoor weather day - sun, rain, hail,
and snow all in the same day.
Monday 3/7 - We got up
early so we could get to the mission choir practice on time. We then
had our weekly devotional. Monday was also our mission president's
birthday, so we sang to him at the devotional. We then went to work in
our work zones, had our district meeting, and then saw the film "The
Testaments."
Tuesday 3/8 - We spent the day working in the
work zone. Tuesday was also the day of my 6 month mark - it's amazing
how FAST the time goes in the mission.
